Occasora makes candles for occasions.
Not scented candles that happen to be given as gifts — candles designed around the moment they are for. Each label names its occasion beneath the wordmark, so the candle already says something before a card is opened. A sympathy candle reads as a sympathy candle. A first-home candle reads as a first-home candle. Nothing has to be explained.
How it works
You choose the occasion design first, then the scent, separately. The scent name is never printed on the label, which is deliberate: it keeps the candle reading as a gift rather than as a fragrance product, and it means the person receiving it sees the occasion, not the marketing.
Every candle is a 9 oz soy wax blend in a reusable glass jar, with a 100% cotton wick and an approximate burn time of 50 to 60 hours. Nine scents, including unscented, because sometimes fragrance is the wrong choice entirely — in a hospital room, at a memorial, or for someone who simply does not want it.
How they are made
We want to be straightforward about this, because plenty of brands are not. Occasora does not pour or manufacture the candles. They are produced by our manufacturing partner and finished with our label artwork, assembled in the USA from globally sourced parts. What we design is the occasion: the artwork, the wording, and the decision about which moments deserve one.
Each candle is made to order, which is why production time is added to transit time at checkout rather than promised in advance.
